Varied high energy punk and ska without being too preachy. The cover is neat and all but it is the music that makes it. All rights reserved. The pop star’s instincts were proven entirely correct when Armstrong went on to write hits for Pink, Gwen Stefani and a host of other artists, but Rancid is Armstrong’s home and the vehicle for his very best songs. There are some great songs on here, and as a whole the album works very well.
