The shimmers are SO pigmented. At 52 the colors in this pallet really warm up my brown eyes. I would like to know what shades are the same, just renamed and which are new shades.I’m over these names. I would rather they actually described the color or even use a numbering system.For me, i have 2 minor daughters who enjoy makeup. So I bought it & I decided to read the reviews for it after I bought it (stupid, I know). This was not a win, but not a huge fail.I bought this as an impulsive buy and it was so worth it! But as pretty as it is and as nice as a rating it’s received, the only shade that really caught my eye is Lace Teddy. Best application method for me is to to wet a flat brush with setting spray, dip into the shimmer pan, TAP EXCESS OFF, and PRESS onto the eyelid.
I got the shimmers to work out, but it took some trial and error. I've tried other Too Faced palettes, and this one is so lacking in quality compared to the others. That, coupled with the fiasco of the palettes being put on sale within a few days of launch AND then being more readily available at Sephora and Ulta, has put me off purchasing directly from TF ever again.I love these matte palettes, but this is way too warm for me. “Less Is More” and “Cleavage” (that name makes me cringe) are the two that are especially catching my eye.
The shimmers apply amazingly & I don't even need to use MAC fix+ like I always use for shimmers.
