Uninstalling and reinstalling does not work, it’s a defect in the system, it should be recalled. Mine does the same thing.

Note: If you have a Ring Protect Plan subscription, turning off alerts does not turn off recording. Re: Motion Alerts Keep Switching Off I’ve got the same issue, having tried all the options you’ve all been given I’ve been told to try downloading the “rapid ring” app in the App Store as a temporary fix I gave it a 1 star just for this issue. I called support this morning, they said they are aware of the software issue & are working on it. If the app rating starts dropping enough from the reviews they will have to take action.
