At 25% lighter, it was still too dark for the space we were working to brighten!
With white oak, it takes 1,360 lbf or 1,360 pounds-force to embed the ball half way. I might prefer it more with southern light and orange wood over northern light. I can see now why I could never get things just right in my living room.
