Eugenia Ann Friday, Kuku to those that knew her, was born on Friday, January 7th, 1929, in Fond du Lac Wisconsin, to Floyd and Margaret Sweeney Friday. Eugenia's priority is to accompany her husband at all times and to safeguard the family peace for their three children and all their grandchildren. But mostly she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.Gene was united in marriage to Robert Jones on June 1, 1946, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Pulaski Wisconsin. Eugenia R. Jones (Novello) Passed peacefully into eternal life on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 in San Mateo at the age of 103. “Gene” was born on March 31, 1923, in Pulaski, Wisconsin to Peter and Catherine (Nowak) Czarapata. She was a woman of deep faith, kindness, wisdom, humor and unconditional love. Jean attended Weymouth High School and the School of Practical Art before working as a waitress for many years at both Coral Gables and the Venetian, where she was blessed with many friends. She is also a very busy woman who does many activities around art, her great passion since ever. A private mass will be held on Tuesday, June 9, with Interment at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.Gene is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy and Isabelle; her husband, Bob Jones; son, Greg Jones; son-in-law, Larry Vitello; and grandson, Christopher Budin.Gene exhibited incredible grace throughout her life, accepting adversity without complaint.
